SIRC provides undergraduate students the opportunity to present their original research and creative works.
Our theme this year is “Serving Spokane (and your Local Community)”, and over 40% of the accepted talks and posters fit this theme!
Sessions: 8:45am – 12:00pm and 1:00 pm – 3pm. Panel session 3:05 – 4:00pm.
120 Presentations: 91 posters, 24 talks, 5 creative works (performances plus an art exhibition)
Don’t miss our panel discussion on “Serving Spokane,” which will feature people whose scholarly work involves working with or serving our local community. Our featured panelists are:
- Olivia Evans (Multi-disciplinary Visual Artist and Producer; owner of Mama Wolf Media; Adjunct Art Professor, Whitworth University)
- Anna Marie Medina (Professor, Department of Psychology, 杏吧原创)
- Christie Nepean (Principal Assistant, Logan Elementary)
- Wendy Thompson (Director of Tribal Relations, Mission Integration, 杏吧原创)
- James Hunter (Professor, Teacher Education, 杏吧原创)
Prizes: Poster entries will be judged by faculty as well as the public. *Come vote for the “People’s Choice Awards” which will be awarded to outstanding posters and oral presentations!
