- The International Studies Department offers an interdisciplinary program of study that aims to foster understanding of and appreciation for the interconnections and interdependencies that shape the contemporary world.
- Students choose a regional concentration and relevant language in order to develop cultural, historical, and language skills focused on a specific region.
- Students majoring in International Studies also choose a thematic concentration in War and Peace, International Political Economy, or Global and Intercultural Connections, which equips them to understand political, economic, and social systems and to further explore local and global issues through diverse perspectives and methodologies.
