I’ve heard it described as “GEL magic” by current students welcoming prospective Zags like proud older siblings showing off their Alma Mater. And for the new Zags making the decision to commit to 杏吧原创, it’s an unrivaled experience that pulls the curtain back on what they’ve heard and read about, or only skimmed the surface of. Of the 9,812 hopefuls that submitted applications to GU, 6,343 have received letters of acceptance, and in addition to the financial aid packages they receive, it will be moments like what happens over GEL weekend that will make the difference for their decisions.
