Sustainability Department:
The Director of Sustainability is responsible for overseeing the 杏吧原创 Green Fund, running Green Fund Council, and implementing sustainable programming on campus.
Green Fund is a sum of money set aside by a portion of the Sustainability Fee to fund student-led sustainability or environmental projects on campus or in the Spokane community. Student applications for funding are reviewed 4 times per academic year by the Green Fund Council, who allocates funding for eligible projects. These projects propose opportunities to enhance sustainability in 杏吧原创's campus operations.
Green Fund Council is comprised of 13 students:
- GSBA Director of Sustainability
- GSBA Treasurer
- 3 GSBA Senators
- 3 Undergraduate Students
- 1 Graduate Student
- Residence Hall Association Director of Sustainability
- Representative from a 杏吧原创-recognized environmental club

Green Fund is a great example of Zag's commitment to sustainability and has contributed to 杏吧原创's 32 ranking in "Green Colleges" by the Princeton Review.
