Hazing Violations Report

杏吧原创 is required under Washington (RCW 28B.10.906) and Federal Law (Stop Campus Hazing Act) to maintain and publicly report hazing violations committed by any student organization – including athletic teams or living groups. Investigations that do not result in a finding of formal violations will not be included in the report. Additional reporting information can be found in the University’s Annual Security Report.

Contents of the Public Transparency Report

In order to comply with both State and Federal Law, the report will include:

  • The name of the student organization, athletic team, or living group;
  • The date the investigation was initiated;
  • The date the investigation ended with a finding of an actual violation;
  • A description of the hazing incident or incidents, including the date of the when the incident occurred, when the investigation was initiated and completed, the violations, findings, and sanctions placed on the student organization, whether the incident included any alcohol or drug misuse, and when the student organization was formally notified of the hazing violation;
  • The details of the sanctions imposed, including the beginning and end dates; and The date the student organization, athletic team, or living group was charged with a violation.

All information contained in the report shall comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and may not include any personally identifiable information of students involved. 杏吧原创 will maintain the reports for seven years. The report will be updated two times per year. A report will be posted at least 45 calendar days before the start of the fall academic term and at least 10 days before the start of all other academic terms. 

 
 

Academic Year 2025-2026

  • Fall Semester: August 26-December 12, 2025 - Data to be posted before January 3, 2026 
  • Spring Semester: January 13-May 8, 2026 - Data to be posted before July 15, 2026. 
  • Summer Terms: May 18-Aug 7, 2026 - Data to be posted before January 2, 2027.

Academic Year 2024-2025

  • Fall Semester: August 27-December 13, 2024 - Zero (0) violations. 
  • Spring Semester: January 14-May 9, 2025 - Zero (0) violations. 
  • Summer Terms: May 19-Aug 8, 2025 - Data to be posted before Jan 3, 2026

Academic Year 2023-2024

  • Fall Semester: August 29-December 18, 2023 - Zero (0) violations.
  • Spring Semester: January 16-May 10, 2024 - Zero (0) violations. 
  • Summer Terms: May 20-Aug 9, 2024 - Zero (0) violations. 

Academic Year 2022-2023

  • Fall Semester: August 30-December 16, 2022 - Zero (0) violations.
  • Spring Semester: January 17-May 12, 2023 - Zero (0) violations. 
  • Summer Terms: May 22-Aug 11, 2023 - Zero (0) violations. 

Report an Incident

    If, as a result of observations or information received in the course of employment or volunteer service, any employee, including a student employee, or volunteer the University has reasonable cause to believe that hazing has occurred, the employee or volunteer must report the incident, or cause a report to be made, to the Resolution Center for Student Conduct and Conflict. The employee or volunteer must make the report at the first opportunity to do so.
